Hellavision Television

Hellavision Television is a community-sourced ongoing animation anthology. Opens calls are put out biannually, with a tight deadline to complete an original animation between 10 seconds and 2 minutes long.

IN FLUORESCENCE

A creative collaboration involving music, dance, and animation between myself and interdisciplinary artist Dane Cree.

I made the music and Dane performed several takes of original choreography to accompany it. The animation was created by both of us over a few weeks in a rapid-fire sequence of improvisational analog rotoscope experiments using mainly fluorescent drawing materials on old found papers and notecards. Most of the piece is a layering of our individual sequences side by side.
